The Strokes title fourth album Angles

Wanna know how I know that The Strokes’ fourth studio album is really coming out? Well, for one, it’s completed. It even has a tentative release date. Plus, the Julian Casablancas-led outfit bothered to title it.

LP#4, due for release March 22nd, will sport the name Angles. In an interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. explained that the title reflects “what the record sounds like. It comes from five different people.”

Angles will be proceeded by lead single “Undercover Of Darkness”; and also includes songs titled “Taken For A Fool”, “Life Is Simple”, “Machu Picchu”, “Radio Minor Madness”, and “Call Me Back”.

Now, ready for the best part of the interview? The Strokes will tour this year (that part is not news), because (here’s the news), according to Hammond Jr., “We want to come back strong but slowly, so we can grow live and also make new music. We want to release albums quicker”.

Bad puns aside, this is it, folks!
