Watch: Cee-Lo plays Saturday Night Live

No one man has milked a single more in recent memory than Ce-Lo Green. Obviously, the soulful half of Gnarls Barkley has good reason for shilling “Fuck You”/the mom approved-“Forget You” on every TV outlet from Letterman to Ellen, but after a while, not even the best chorus of 2010 is immune to becoming stale and tiresome. But then Gwyneth Paltrow popped into Cee-Lo’s life, first covering his hit song on Glee, then reportedly teaming up with him to cover a new version, and finally appearing alongside him on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. It was not so much a shot in the arm (Cee-Lo will always ooze an enigmatic persona), but it did bring anticipation to his SNL appearance, even if at the end of the day, their collaboration came in the form of skits rather than a duet.

Watch Cee-Lo perform “Forget You” above and “Bright Lights, Bigger City” below. Then scroll down further to check out the skits. They were forgetting great.
