Alice Cooper preps release of his 25th studio album

Legendary frontman Alice Cooper is preparing the release of his next album, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, his 25th in a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-worthy career that spans over 40 years as an artist. If the title rings a bell, there’s a reason. The godfather of shock rock’s latest effort will be a sequel to 1975’s Welcome To My Nightmare, which was Cooper’s first album as a solo artist. Cooper also commissioned original Nightmare producer Bob Ezrin to work on this release, in order to commemorate their 35-year old partnership.

According to NME, the album has been completed and is likely due sometime this summer. Cooper will look to support the release with appearances at this year’s Download and Sonisphere festivals, in addition to the dates listed below.
