After making fans wait six years for the band’s sophomore album, Transit Transit, Autolux already has more new music out. Well, three tracks, but hey, it’s something. The three tracks come in the form of an EP titled, The Bouncing Wall / Census, previously released as a 7″ picture disc single in Europe.
The tracks consist of the instrumental “23 Watt Apple Juice”, a remix of “Kissproof” by producer Bobby Evans, and “Black Leaves”, a mix of a sound installation Autolux put together in November 2010 for Paralleled Opposites, an art show by Mark Whalen (Kill Pixie). Also included are two Transit Transit tracks, the title tracks “The Bouncing Wall” and “Census”.
The EP will be released digitally March 1st on tbd records; the tracklist and Autolux’s upcoming tour dates are listed below.
