Boris to drop two albums on April 26th

While the sudden early morning announcement of a new Radiohead LP dropping this Saturday is impressive, we’d like to submit a dark horse for most impressive album announcement of the week: Boris. According to Pitchfork, the experimental rock band is experimenting with dropping two albums, Heavy Rocks and Attention Please, on the same day, April 26th. Long-time fans of the band will recognize Heavy Rocks as another album that the band put out back in 2002, however, Boris promise it will be a different record and will “redefine ‘heavy’ music in a culmination of the band’s tireless efforts over the past two decades.” Along with re-hashing old titles, Attention Please will also be the first Boris album to feature guitarist Wata handling lead vocals for an entire record. Check out the cover art above and the tracklists below. Heavy Rocks and Attention Please are available April 26th via Sargent House.
