GAYNGS gently remove the stigma from the Easy Listening genre. Their debut album, Relayted, disambiguates the term easy listening, and is as creative as it is frivolous. It’s hard to tell which member of this super group has their tongue firmly planted in their cheek — ringleader Ryan Olson, Justin Vernon and Mike Noyce of Bon Iver, Zak Coulter and Adam Hurlburt of Solid Gold, Jake Luck of Leisure Birds, Ivan Rosebud of The Rosebuds, Brad Cook and Joe Westerlund of Megafaun, or Mike Lewis of Andrew Bird and Happy Apple. That’s a lot of dude’s coaxing smiles from you with soprano saxes, white suits, talk downs, and the softest rock around.

They’ll be playing a one-off gig at First Avenue in Minneapolis March 6th before they head to South by Southwest and then on to Coachella, Sasquatch!, and a few other shows.
