What an awesome Valentine’s Day, or Monday for the single folks. After what may prove to be the most insane news day of 2011, the evening was capped off with some amazing late-night performances. LCD Soundsystem stopped by The Colbert Report, while The Black Keys celebrated their three Grammy victories with an appearance on Conan. After CoCo introduced the duo by holding up their Grammy Award winning “Best Recording Package,” the Keys then proceeded to deliver another awe-inspiring performance of “Howlin’ for You”, off their Grammy Award winning “Alternative Album of the Year,” Brothers. Also of particular note was Dan Auerbach’s noticeably puffy haircut. Even Conan had to be impressed.
If you still haven’t picked up a copy of Brothers, copies are available here. Watch the performance above, via The Audio Perv.
