If you thought Odd Future, the LA-based hip-hop ensemble made up of 16-23 year old dudes who, for all intents and purposes, make ultra gimmicky horrorcore (and lovely Christmas carols to boot), was a flash in the pan destined to burn out tout de suite, then here’s a reality check for you: there’s more to come from the ensemble. First, Tyler, The Creator and Hodgy Beats, two of the group’s more prominent members, will hit up Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on February 16th, where they’ll be backed up by The Roots (how is that for a legitimacy bump?) Plus, on top of their April 15th slot at Coachella, the entire group will embark on their first-ever tour with dates in Washington, DC, New York, NY, and Philadelphia, PA next month. #swag.
