Peter Murphy already told the world that his ninth studio album creatively titled Ninth has been finished and ready since June, but now Slicing Up Eyeballs is reporting that the disc will finally hit store shelves and hard drives on June 7th. Its his first long-player since 2004s Unshattered and to make things even better, our favorite Twilight character has officially expanded on the rumored tour dates we reported on two weeks ago.
The 53-year-old former frontman of Bauhaus will bring the darkness back to the States on March 7th when his tour opens in Seattle. The month-long trek then takes Murphy down the west coast and across Americas nether-region before shooting him as far south as Fort Lauderdale, FL. Hes scheduled for a jaunt through the eastern seaboard and northeast before finally wrapping it all up with a trio of shows in the Midwest.
Tickets for the 29-date excursion start in the $20 range and are available through various ticketing outlets on Murphys official website. Support for the shows hasnt been announced yet, but you can have a look at the complete list of tour dates below.
