A Cluster 1 Premier!

A peaceful countryside interlude in your hectic day.  Let Sarah Jaffe‘s gorgeous voice and these golden images sooth you. “All That Time” is from her upcoming EP The Way Sound Leaves a Room.  Last year, her debut album, Suburban Nature, made Jaffe one of 2010’s breakout artists.

Jaffe shares her thoughts on the EP and the video:

I wanted to write a really short intro to Clementine, but also kind of tip my hat to it I suppose.  It was made on my glorious laptop in Denton TX.

And my good friend Chris Phelps, whose a very talented photographer, came up to Denton for a couple cold days in January and shot hours worth of footage for a few new songs of mine.  This being one of them.  This song and video will probably appear on a lo-fi, short body of work, The Way Sound Leaves a Room EP.  The songs on it are all experimental endeavors at my home in Denton, TX.  They merely came from trying to get inspired with other instruments.  This is what happens with a cheap bass, an even cheaper drum set, some time on the road, too much time by myself, and bad ass neighbors that let me struggle on garage band for hours at a time.
