Back in November, Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys announced he’d be dropping his next solo album, Hotel Shampoo, on Valentine’s Day. What he didn’t mention, however, was that he had yet to score a release date for North America. So while lovers Stateside still have to wait till May 3rd for the LP, they can rejoice in the fact that Rhys will be hitting our wondrous continent for a string of tour dates in May and June.
With a European tour going on through March 19th, Rhys will hit North America starting May 18th in Brooklyn, NY. From there, it’s shows in Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA, Toronto, ON, and beyond before the tour wraps up on June 15th in New York, NY. Accompanying Rhys as openers are North Wales surf pop band Y Niwl. Check out the entire tour schedule below.
