The last few months have been fretful for Ted Leo lovers due to sordid tales of potential retirement and postponed solo tour dates echoing throughout the interwebs. Thankfully, relief came when the retirement stuff turned out to stem from a silly misquote, and that postponed tour now has been officially unpostponed as word comes from Matablog (via Pitchfork) that his shelved January/February tour has been rescheduled for April/May.
Boston, Hamden, Scraton, and Philly had already gotten their dates, but now Iowa City, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, and the rest of the awaiting cities have theirs. There is one noticeable omission from the new slate: Nashville, TN. A February 3rd show was originally planned for Music City, but no new date appears on either Ted Leo’s or the venues websites (the venue still has the canceled show listed). Go ahead and begin your sophistic Bonnaroo rumors now, but well let you know if anything official comes out. See Leos complete tour schedule below.
