After winning two Grammys, The Black Keys aren’t giving themselves much time to bask in the glow of their awesomeness. On top of potentially dropping a new album later this fall, the Akron, OH-based duo have scheduled themselves a North American tour to go down this summer.
Set to launch June 27th in Vancouver, the trek will have The Keys playing cities across Canada and the United States midwest before wrapping up on July 13th in Buffalo. And much like the band they beat out for Best Alternative Album, the Keys’ upcoming stint will feature some mighty impressive openers: Cage The Elephant, legendary multi-instrumentalist Booker T. Jones, and Nicole Atkins & The Black Sea will all split time in support.
