How’s this for a one-two punch: On April 1st, one day before LCD Soundsystem play their final show ever to a soldout crowd of scalpers and Stubhub buyers, New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden will host The Strokes! As per frontman Julian Casablancas’s Twitter (which seems to be the band’s official mouthpiece these days), tickets go on sale Friday, February 25th. For those not in New York, see them at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Jazz Fest, or on SNL.
The band’s new album, Angles, arrives March 22nd via RCA.
