Despite the unusual capitalization, Merrill Garbus’s side project tUnE-YaRdS hasn’t managed to scare any stylists away; instead, it’s championing on with a sophomore album. In an interview with Pitchfork, The Sister Suvi singer says she plans to spend most of spring touring behind w h o k i l l, the followup to 2009’s Bird Brains. The album, which Garbus says was partially about cleaning up her sound, has a release set for April 19th via 4AD.
