What’s a 26-year-old rapper to do after the thrill of being gifted with a $44,000 watch finally fades away? Well, if you’re D.C.-based Wale, you release two new, totally different videos. Per Rap Radar, we have clips of two tracks from Wale’s latest mixtape – More About Nothing – and while “The MC”, which is posted above, shows the new Maybach Music Group signee playing maestro over humongous crowds (even getting pants pulled down by a flock of women), the video for “The Break Up Song” is a bit more introspective.
Taking a page from “500 Days Of Summer,” the video below shows our hero attending college (who knew you could get a Hennessy laptop skin), and imagining romantic situations with a certain lady friend. Wale’s vision never comes to fruition and he’s left all alone, but fortunately for him, it’s all just pretend and there are actually plenty of people willing to be in his company.
