The Fiery Furnaces’ Matthew Friedberger is getting ready to release the next effort in his six album Solos series, which features a different instrument-focus for each album. Meet Me in Miramas is Friedberger’s upcoming, guitar-driven installment, with the title track/first single available for stream below (via Spin). The song’s simple arrangement and warm vocal tone welcome the listener on a winding hillside seated next to Friedberger, with the destination happily out of sight.
