If you’ve ever gone to one of those karaoke bars with private rooms, you often get a randomly put-together music video that can range from out-of-place to incredibly out-of-place. Crystal‘s music video for “INITIATIVE!” follows the basic structure of a karaoke animation, but with far more planning put behind it. A hand holds a CD above moving grids as bike riders try to approach it. The lyrics scroll along at the bottom of the screen, adding to the singalong feel. The scenes gradually build and transform using the same initial material, plus a few crystals. There’s a lot to see in a short time span, but make sure to keep an eye out for the robo-mech towards the end!
