By now, you probably know that Ezra Furman & the Harpoons will be performing at Consequence of Sound’s Axis of Audio day party on March 19th. What you may not know is that the Austin, TX-based South by Southwest is just the first stop of many in the band’s upcoming spring tour throughout the U.S.
The leg will be in support of the quartet’s follow-up to 2008’s Inside the Human Body, and their first under Red Parlor Records, Mysterious Power, due for release on April 5th. Interested? One of the LP’s tracks, “Hard Time in a Terrible Land”, can be heard below.
As for the tour, Ezra Furman & the Harpoons will start their trek on April 3rd in Nashville, TN. From there, they’ll move up the Eastern Seaboard before swinging westward. Currently, the last date scheduled is in Portland, OR on May 15th. Tristen and Apache Relay will open for all non-festival dates.
