Generationals – “Ten-Twenty-Ten”

There are many ways to make an excellent music video. Some have storylines to follow, others use innovative film techniques. For Generationals latest video, “Ten-Twenty-Ten,” animator-director, Albert Birney, went with the kitchen sink method. Over the course of the three minute song, this film throws random images together via with stop-motion animation, green screen effects, and stock footage overlays to create a savory D.I.Y. retro feel. Oh, and it has fish. Lots of fish.

Generationals’ second album, Actor-Caster, will drop on March 29th through Park the Van Records.

Directed by: Albert Birney
