Langerado Music Festival returns for 2011

Langerado Music Festival, the one-time Florida based music extravaganza that for six years brought the likes of R.E.M., My Morning Jacket, Widespread Panic, and more to South Florida before moving to Miami in 2009 and ultimately canceling prior to a single note ever played, is back.

According to an issued press release, Langerado will return October 8-9 at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. The festival is being produced by Lollapalooza and ACL promoters, C3 presents, in conjunction with Boros Entertainment, and this year’s lineup promises 22 acts over the two days.

“Much like our other festivals, we want Langerado to be an experience, not just a concert,” says C3 Partner, Charlie Jones, in a statement. “The environment and the community are critical to that experience, so it’s important to us to create an event that the fans and city will embrace.”

The line-up announcement won’t be made until June 1st, but a limited number of early bird passes will be available Wednesday, March 9th at 11AM EST for $75. Once the allotment sell outs, additional 2-Day tickets at the Advance Price of $150 (inclusive of all fees) will be available in conjunction with the line-up announcement.
