Two of music’s most pop-rock-tastic acts, Matt & Kim and The Thermals, will team up this summer for a U.S. tour. The trek, which will see Matt & Kim headline in support of last year’s Sidewalks, launches following both bands’ appearances at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, WA. With a stop at Bonnaroo in between, the road trip features dates in several often neglected markets — Florida even gets three dates — as well as major performances in Washington, DC, New York, and Boston. According to a post on Matt & Kim’s website, The Thermals and DJ Autobot from Flosstradamus will open most dates, but details on exactly when and where are still forthcoming. Tickets go on sale today via your favorite ticket outlets.
