Steel Train – “Bullet”

There’s nothing like a good, old-fashioned road trip. It’s the type of adventure where you jump in a van with a bunch of your friends and see what the world outside your comfort zone has to offer. That’s the concept behind Steel Train’s video for “Bullet,” the first song off their self-titled, third LP. A group of friends head out to an unknown destination and have loads of fun along the way. They do everything you’d expect from this type of trip, such as rolling giant tires down a hill, sword-fighting with flares, and throwing random objects in the river. By the end of the video, we learn that the destination was a small club where Steel Train is performing. It’s a nice callback to the days before road trips meant time spent on cell phones and iPods. It’s just a bunch of people enjoying each other’s company. Who can argue with a video like that?
