It’s understandable if you’re still soaking in The Strokes’ “You’re So Right” or if you haven’t hit up R.E.M.’s Collapse Into Now yet, but if you’re not a fan of either of those, or you just have some free time, and you’re sort of pining for more lo-fi, gritty, sludge rock after reading Möhammad Choudhery’s coverage of Sebadoh this morning, then we have something for you. (Take a breather. Okay. Good.) Today, Brooklyn’s latest scorching trio, Mr. Dream, issued their fuzzy, sloppy debut, Trash Hit (via eMusic). If you’re into Big Black, Jesus Lizard, and Nirvana’s early scruff, then by all means dive into this immediately.

This won’t necessarily save your Tuesday, per se. But, it’ll make you wish you didn’t throw away those ripped jeans years back. That’s for sure.
