For the better part of a decade, Scotland-based electro-dance outfit Errors have been making quite the name for themselves on the European continent, but now the boys from Glasgow are gearing up to invade the shores of these United States.  And if you think that the U-S-of-A doesn’t have room for another “dancey rock band,” then you probably need to head over to our video channel – Cluster 1 – where we’ve posted the stateside premiere of the video for “A Rumour In Africa”.

The Squarelips-directed clip opens with an actor standing alone and waving at passing traffic, but the action gets even weirder when the camera offers viewers a glimpse of his personal life, wherein he apparently enjoys engineering the latest and greatest in home puppetry. While you may not be the type who normally enjoys watching homemade mannequins doing the robot, the outfit’s antics were more than enough to garner the attention of some very notable eyes and ears.

Errors happen to be signed to Mogwai’s label, Rock Action Records, and have plans for an American release of their latest LP, Come Down With Me, on April 12th. You can get a glimpse of the boys when they play Austin as a part of South By Southwest and when they play opener to their bosses on an upcoming U.S. tour. Tickets for select dates are available at SeatGeek.com, and you can pre-order Come Down With Me here.
