The Black Lips’ forthcoming LP, Arabia Mountain, due for release this June via Vice, marks the first time ever the band hit the studio with a producer. Mark Ronson was the man who had the honors, and the end result is described as “less muddy” than 2009’s 200 Million Thousand. Another fun fact: a human skull was brought in to serve as an echo chamber.
Above, you can get an early taste of Arabia Mountain in the form of the video for “Go Out and Get It!”. The clip was filmed during last month’s Bruise Cruise, and it makes us totally jealous that it’s not summer yet.
