With an official badge, without one, drunk, sober, wanting to party, wanting to learn, confused; There are a lot of different ways to experience the seemingly millions of events that surround the madness that is South by Southwest, and while there are always more than a few must-see shows and talks going on in Austin this year, someone or something is always trying to pry attendees away from their original plans. So after making plans to attend our day party, showcase, and panel on the rise of the vlogger, festival goers can take a look at the audio-visual incentive that both Arcade Fire and the Foo Fighters have just offered in hopes of getting them to step away from the steamy clubs and outdoor stages and into the cool, dark confines of a movie theatre.
Per 24Bit and Antiquiet, streaming above is the trailer for Foo Fighters: Back and Forth, which receives the official world premiere treatment at SXSW. Just below this block of text is the official trailer for Arcade Fires Spike Jonze-directed short film, Scenes From The Suburbs, which also screens at SXSW. Both clips play just like the fancy-schmancy previews that can be seen in every theater in the world, but Back and Forths dramatic trailer makes the story of the Foo Fighters seem like the must-see movie of the year.
