Beastie Boys’ Fight For Your Right Revisited to premiere April 20th

    Hopefully you don’t already have plans for 4/20, but if you do, just try to be sober enough once midnight rolls around. That’s because, as Gibson.com reports, the Beastie Boys will premiere their highly anticipated film Fight For Your Right Revisited on VH1, MTV2, mtvU, and Palladia at 12:00am EST Wednesday night. Update: Additional premiere times and locations have been announced. Find the full list below.

    As previously reported, the 22-minute flick features a star-studded cast that includes but is not limited to: Elijah Wood, Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, John C. Reilly, Seth Rogen, Jack Black, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, David Cross, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzman, Adam Scott, and Rainn Wilson.     Fight For Your Right Revisited will also be packaged in the deluxe edition of the trio’s new album Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2, which is now available for pre-order.

    Wednesday, April 20th:

    — 12AM: EXCLUSIVE TV PREMIERE of  Fight Your Right Revisited Long-Form Version on MTV2, mtvU, VH1 Classic and Palladia.

    — 3AM: Comedy Central TV premiere of Fight Your Right Revisited Long-Form EXPLICIT Version.

    — 6PM: EXCLUSIVE ONLINE PREMIERE of the 5 minute video version of Fight For Your Right Revisited on the websites for MTV2, mtvU, VH1, Palladia, Comedy Central, MTV and Spike.

    — The 5 minute video version will go into rotation on MTV, MTV2 and mtvU, MTV Hits, VH1 and Palladia after the Fight For Your Revisited TV premiere.

    Saturday, April 23rd:

    — Video Spotlight: Fight For Your Right Revisited (5 minute video version) will get the Video Spotlight in the VH1 Top 20 Countdown beginning Saturday, April 23rd.

    Friday, April 29th:

    — 6PM: EXCLUSIVE ONLINE PREMIERE of the long-form censored version of Fight For Your Right Revisited goes live online on the websites for MTV2, mtvU, VH1, Palladia, Comedy Central, MTV and Spike.
