Com Truise – “FairLight”

In the 1980s, adverts for the latest technology was always an ominous look into the future.  10lb Pictures’ video for “FairLight”, no doubt named after the legendary Fairlight CMI (Computer Musical Instrument) is composed entirely of that era’s bold, sleek technology ads of that time.  It sets a singular tone and provides an incredible retrospective of how we viewed the digital future.  Some of the clips samples were event test footage for the CGI tech behind the original Tron.
