The world’s largest music festival will be taking next summer off due to the Summer Olympics and limited Portapotties, so you had to figure this year would be mighty epic. Well, you were right.
In addition the previously announced U2, Coldplay, and Beyoncé, Glastonbury 2011 will be led by the likes of Morrissey, Queens of the Stone Age, The Chemical Brothers, Paul Simon, Bright Eyes, Fleet Foxes, TV on the Radio, Elbow, B.B. King, Fat Boy Slim, and Pendulum.
Set for June 22-26 in Pilton, UK, the festival will also feature Primal Scream, Wu-Tang Clan, Big Audio Dynamite, Nick Lowe, Don McLean, Mumford & Sons, Cee-Lo Green, Big Boi, Janelle Monáe, Robyn, The Kills, Biffy Clyro, The Gaslight Anthem, Kaiser Chiefs, Jimmy Eat World, White Lies, Twilight Singers, Paolo Nutini, Cold War Kids, Jimmy Cliff, Friendly Fires, and Eels.
Plus, The Walkmen, The Streets, Crystal Castles, Lykke Li, Battles, Jenny & Johnny, Caribou, OK Go, Yuck, The Go! Team, Hercules and Love Affair, Glasvegas, The Vaccines, DJ Shadow, Laura Marling, James Blake, John Grant, Warpaint, Jamie xx, The Joy Formidable, Cults, Fujiya & Miyagi, Esben And The Witch, and The Low Anthem will all play.
