TV GHOST – “Subterfuge”

Some music videos try to tell a story. Some rely on unique visuals. In the case of TV GHOST though, some just try to scare the hell out of you. Director Jeremiah Beaver takes the band’s gothic, twisted sound and piles on the frightening images for your enjoyment. As ghostly projections of the group play through the song, the background images make heavy use of contrast and shadows to create what is scariest for some people: the unknown. Not much is seen, but that keeps the anxiety high. You’re waiting for a moment that may never arrive.

“Subterfuge” is from TV GHOST’s currently available LP, Mass Dream.

    Directed by: Jeremiah Beaver
    Cinematography/Assistant Director: Barry G. Elmore
    Technical Director/Projectionist: Esteban Garcia
Camera and Lighting Assistant: David Prouty
