north coast music festival 2011

Amidst Chicago’s ever-crowded festival landscape, the North Coast Music Festival made quite the first impression in 2010 with a lineup featuring the Chemical Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits, Moby, Lupe Fiasco, and more. For its second installment, set to take place September 2-4 at Union Park, the festival will rely on an equally diverse bill, with rappers Wiz Khalifa and Common, DJ duo Thievery Corporation, indie favorites Neon Indian and Little Dragon, and gypsy punk warriors Gogol Bordello included in the initial lineup announcement.

Other announced acts include David Guetta, Wolfgang Gartner, Lotus, Rubblebucket, and Van Ghost. The full lineup will be announced on May 31st.

Three-day passes are priced at $95 and are now available at the festival’s website. $40 one-day passes will be available starting Monday, April 18th.
