With a debut record, GB City, out on Fat Possum and a stint backing up label-mate MellowHype (of OFWGKTA) under their belts, Mississippi garage-rock duo Bass Drum of Death are ready to take their own jams on the road. Our own David Buchanan called their music something to get drunk [to] and enjoy, and the opportunity to do just that in a live venue begins June 19th in Chicago, IL. From there, theyll skip through two Canadian dates before playing Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, D.C., Chapel Hill, NC, and Atlanta, GA, as well as four separate New York shows.
Their full schedule can be found below. For a taste of the atmosphere at a Bass Drum of Death party, you can view their new video for the track Get Found over at Pitchfork.
