And then on March 21st from out of nowhere (read: Canada), Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, released House Of Balloons on his website. It’s a lascivious and infectious r&b mixtape that essentially made 2011 one hundred times sexier. Then, via his Twitter, Tesfaye intimated that two more mixtapes, Thursday and Echoes Of Silence, were going to be dropped later in the year. “Rolling Stone” appears to be our first peak into Thursday. Tesfaye says that Thursday is “coming sooner than you think” so be prepared for the year to get two hundred times sexier shortly.
