In the 70s, Grindhouse was a controversial film movement and it’s pretty easy to see why. The features were ultra-violent, even by today’s standards, usually containing brutal slasher scenes. So with a title like “Morutary Music,” footage from Grindhouse flicks work well for Blaq Poet‘s angry lyrics and delivery. Directed by Stu Bangas, it features a serial killer who focuses on young women, preferring the use of a blade or razor to any other weapon.
