You might want to start calling us Fat Joe featuring Lil’ Wayne, the way we’re making it rain these days. What, with our hot shot Lolla giveaway, and now this? For the first time in our lives, we’ve truly achieved the level of generosity we’ve always so yearned for.
Okay, maybe not quite. Nevertheless, we do have another giveaway for you. This time it’s geared for those of you who have an affinity for bright lights and heavy bass: a pair of passes to the premiere of the Electric Daisy Carnival Documentary in Los Angeles, CA. The film highlights the 2010 installment of the festival (not to be confused with this year’s), with interviews/performances from Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5, Will.I.Am, Swedish House Mafia, Benny Benassi, Moby, Steve Aoki, A-Trak, Duck Sauce, MSTRKRFT, Afrojack, and a special tribute to DJ AM.
The early screening to which we’re giving tickets away will take place at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles on July 27th, a week before the documentary hits theaters nationwide for one night only. “What do I have to do to get these crazy awesome tickets,” you ask. It’s simple: Go to the official Consequence of Sound Facebook page and shout out your very favorite electronic/dance act of all-time. The winner will be chosen at random.
For those less fortunate who still want to take part in the chaos of EDC without actually having to be in the chaos of EDC, the film will be in theaters on August 4th (remember, for one night only), playing in a select 520 theaters across the country, a list of which can be found here.
