Over a year ago, hundreds of millions of gallons of oil poured into the Gulf of Mexico in one of the most devastating disasters in world history. However, most Americans seem to have forgotten the tragedy in the wetlands. But not Chris Harmon. His animation explores the economic toll of the spill by putting the vast numbers into terms we can comprehend. Cant get your head around 205,000,000 gallons of oil? That amount would sustain 750,000 cars driving cross-country. Harmons examples are staggering and remind the viewer of the consequences of oil dependence.
