What would early culture have been like if rap existed in ancient times? Probably nothing like Stuey Kubrick’s music video for Sweatshop Union. Still, “Makeshift Kingdom” is a cool, funny concept that centers around cave life in the tundra. The rapper cavemen dwell in their home, explore snow-covered fields, and spit out rhymes. Not exactly hunting and gathering, but it’ll do!
“Makeshift Kingdom” can be found on the currently-available Bill Murray EP.
