Music videos often act like time machines, transporting you to long gone eras. In the case of “Come On Over” by Veronica Falls, all the footage is complied from the 80s. This retro video doesn’t really focus on one thing, having cultural clips fade on top of each other the whole way through. Shots of professional athletes appear and disappear. So do images of amusement park rides, tai chi, and dancing. It creates not a story, but a snapshot of the past.
