Garage and, to a lesser extent, surf rock seem like burgeoning sub-genres in the indie music world the past few years, what with Wavves and The Drums leading the way with their hazy, punkish stylings. Hoping to stake their claim and stand out from the pack are Miami’s Jacuzzi Boys, whose sophomore effort Glazin’ drops August 30th via Hardly Art.
In support of the LP, Gabriel Alcala and company will be hitting the road this fall with a substantial tour, extending those longing feelings for hot, humid weather and aggressive, danceable rock music well into the autumn months. The trek kicks off on August 27th with a hometown record release party in Miami, and runs all over North America until Halloween night in Atlanta, GA.
