Ever hear the tune “Tomorrow the Green Grass”? Odds are if you haven’t seen the 1995 comedy National Lampoon’s Senior Trip — starring one Jeremy Renner, in fact — then you’re probably at a loss. Anyways, the band behind the ultra rad track is Minneapolis’ own The Jayhawks. As we previously reported earlier this summer, the alternative country rockers reunited this year and plan on releasing their eighth LP, Mockingbird Time, on September 23rd via Rounder Records.

To support the release, The Jayhawks have rolled out another round of dates across America. Currently, they’re wrapping up some dates overseas which takes them through mid-August, but they’ll pick things up mid-September in, naturally, Minnesota. What’s more, they’ll also appear on the Late Show with David Letterman on September 23rd Check out the band’s complete itinerary below.

Mockingbird Time surfaces September 23rd via Rounder Records. Hear the current single “She Walks In So Many Ways” below — in addition to “Tomorrow the Green Grass”, y’know, for fun.
