Our first taste of Tom Wait’s new studio album appears to be just seven days away. As TwentyFourBit points out, Amazon.com has posted a listing for a new Waits single called “Bad As Me” with a release date of August 23rd. The always-resourceful @TomWaits pretty much confirms the news, tweeting, “There have been rumblings and rumors. New music, you say? Come to TomWaits.com on 8/23, and Mr. Waits himself will set the record straight.” What’s seven more days when we’ve already waited five years for this thing. C-ya Tuesday!
