Maryland-bred genre benders Trans Am will reissue their acclaimed fourth LP, 1999’s Futureworld, on September 13th, reports Exclaim. Available on re-pressed vinyl through Thrill Jockey, the set will include remastered versions of the album’s original 10 tracks, as well as a download card for two bonus cuts. The first is an outtake called “Nazi/Hippie Empire”, which was recorded during the original album sessions and has since been remixed by James Murphy. The other is “Now You Die, Thriddle Fool!”, a track which was originally released by Strength Magazine on a flexi-disc seven-inch.
In support of the release, Trans Am will embark on a short tour this fall. Below, you can find all of the band’s confirmed tour dates along with a stream for the Futureworld‘s title track.
