Damon Albarn, the man behind such musical forces as Blur, Gorillaz, An Honest Jon’s Chop Up, and, most recently, DRC Music, now brings us his next mega-project: playing ping pong – I’m sorry – table tennis for BBC Radio 4. Not even kidding. According to Gorillaz-Unofficial, Albarn recently hung with England table tennis team for a forthcoming BBC Radio 4 documentary about the sport.
