At least for me personally, the first-person point of view in driving games was hard as hell, not to mention the graphics in Need For Speed: II didn’t really warrant a scenic route. But when offered in music video form, soundtracked by Destroyer’s “Savage Night at the Opera”, from his CoS Top Star-earning Kaputt, the demons of my youth are quickly forgotten. Plus, there’s a reunion of sorts at the end — which is 10x better than those 32-bit bikini models greeting you at the finish line. Check out the David Galloway-directed clip below, via P4k.
