Speaking with Rolling Stone, Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell said that “Irresistible Force”, the latest single from the band’s upcoming LP The Great Escape Artist, is his take on the Big Bang theory. “The Big Bang was actually sexual intercourse, like cosmic sexual intercourse.” So you can only guess the amount of space sex featured in the band’s newly unveiled video; check out the obviously NSFW clip below.
The Great Escape, the band’s first LP since 2003’s Strays, is due out October 4th via Capitol Records. It had been originally targeted for September 27th, but then Perry got a look at our Upcoming Releases Calendar and realized he’d be going against Björk, Blink-182, and the Nervermind reissue. Or, at least that’s what we’d like to think.
