Next month (aka October 2k11) suddenly offers two Björk-related releases. The first, of course, is the Icelandic songstress’ new solo LP, Biophilia, which is now due October 11th via Nonesuch/One Little Indian. Now, an issued press release reports that Björk and Dirty Projectors’ 2010 collaborative EP, Mount Wittenberg Orca, will finally be released on CD and vinyl on October 25th.
The vinyl offering of Mount Wittenberg Orca is limited edition, and features a deluxe three-dimensional lenticular sleeve, 180 gram heavyweight vinyl, and a deluxe 12 page large-format full color booklet. A very limited number of the LPs will also come with an exclusive Dirty Projectors signed photo print of the album cover when purchased from Domino Mart.
