Bloodrop presents such a paradox of our hopes and our reality, that it is quite hard to describe the emotions it stirs. Here, we have a protagonist, who clearly is not happy with his surroundings. His house shakes every time the train drives by! It’s like living in New York! As he sits there, fed up with everything, a portal to another world opens up through a picture hanging on the wall, and he feels he might have found a new home. However, everything is not quite as perfect as the real world.
