It has been over 15 years since the passing of the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, but the bears and terrapins have kept on dancing across the nation through the rigorous touring schedules of Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, now of Furthur. With the assistance of John Kadlecik (Dark Star Orchestra), Jeff Chimenti (RatDog), Joe Russo (Benevento/Russo Duo), Sunshine Becker, and Jeff Pehrson (Box Set), Weir and Lesh will deliver the Dead’s classic jams to Dead Heads old and new during a 28-date fall U.S. tour.
The tour is currently divided into two segments. The West Coast leg begins September 23rd in Eugene, Oregon, and runs through October 8th. After a month of downtime, the Eastern U.S. leg runs from November 3rd through the 21st. A complete list of dates can be found just below the epic Furthur jam session.
