Thanks to outfits like this (and what the hell is this!?), the world is well aware of Lady Gaga‘s affinity for fashion. After strutting her stuff on the catwalk earlier this year during a Thierry Mugler show, the Mother Monster has now produced a short film for the Mugler Women’s Wear Collection spring/summer 2012 line, with the mini-masterpiece premiering today as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Directed by fashion-film directors and fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin (the folks behind the literally self-indulgent clip for “Yoü and I”), the clip features a rainbow-haired Gaga, complete with diamond-encrusted buck teeth, delivering a monologue interspersed with footage from the runway. Highlights from Gaga’s prose include the meme-worthy, “Sometimes, my heart sometimes feels so black … and other days my heart feels like rainbows.” Check out the haute little vid below.
